Breaking Illusions Counseling
Counseling will assist in the expansion of what is already beautifully within each individual. During counseling, we use words such as "energy", "spine", "nervous system" and "brain" when approaching healing. Therapy uses deep somatic and emotional awareness, restoration, and release. The counselor becomes the mirror for the client/s sitting in front of me to confront and overcome false perceptions, beliefs, or patterns that might be holding them back. There is promotion of self-awareness, personal growth, and positive change, evoking feelings of empowerment, liberation, and transformation.
I am struggling with a loss. How do I get through this?
I am struggling to find any purpose in my life. How do I figure this out?
I am conflicted about a relationship. Should I leave or stay?
I am not sure who I am anymore. Where do I start?
Are you tired of people telling you how to heal?
Breaking Illusions Counseling focuses on helping clients confront and overcome perceptions, beliefs, or patterns that might be holding them back in their personal lives. This implies a commitment to promoting self-awareness, personal growth, and positive change. It is the process involving a safe space where clients can work through their issues, transform their lives, and shatter the barriers that have been keeping them from living their best life.

Private pay allows the therapist to focus on the client treatment without insurance interference; it provides lower caseloads so the therapist can provide more focused, individualized care. Clients don't have to wait for insurance approval before seeking services or insurance denial and have surprise costs. Clients get relief from having to try and meet recurring high premiums and deductibles. At times, private pay prices can be cheaper for clients and more convenient. You can find more informed information about the benefits of private pay at this website: https://thepsychologygroup.com/benefits-of-private-pay/
A typical counseling session at Breaking Illusions Counseling LLC lasts for 50 minutes, although some sessions may be longer or shorter depending on your needs and preferences. On average, therapy takes 4-6 months. This is highly flexible in timing as no timeline is set in stone. Oftentimes coming and going to and from therapy is healthy, as well as re-entering therapy as difficulties arise is recommended. At any point, the client can terminate services as that is their right.
The policy outlines as such: Cancellation--needs to take place within a reasonable amount of time or as soon as possible with a justified reason for cancelling with in 24-48 hours. Late Cancellation--can happen if cancelling within 24 hours or less of scheduled appointment time. No show/No Call--counts as no communication and completely missing the scheduled session. If reminders do not get sent by chance, that does not qualify as this providers fault and is not a reason to be excused from missing the session.
Appointment reminders are sent out 24 and 48 hours in advance to prevent last minute cancelling.
